Hello everyone;
Spencer Connell here.
So… School has really gotten into the swing and so have we. This week we will be having actual events this week and running a tournament. All details will be below in the weekday club break-down.
TUESDAY: 9-27-11
ANIME NIGHT: SENG 227 6:30 – 9:30PM
This week is the beginning of our watchings. We are watching; Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi, Pumpkin Scissors, Paniponi Dash, and one other that for some reason I cannot remember. This will start promptly at 6:30 so please make sure to be there.
WEDNESDAY: 9-28-11
CARD NIGHT: CAMPUS CENTER 006 AND 007 8:00 – 9:30PM
This week we are trying something completely new. If you remember during the Corsair Fair, Gaming Society handed out 30 card decks of Magic the Gathering. We decided to run a tournament around them. If is free to enter and you get to keep the cards. You pick out two of those decks and play with those. It is a great way for new people to get free cards and also learn how to play.
THURSDAY: 9-29-11
GENERAL GAMING: LIBERAL ARTS 215 7:00 – 9:30PM
This week we decided to do things simple and have Super Smash Brothers Brawl. If people want, they can bring board games and/or card games for people’s enjoyment.
WEEKEND: 10-1-11 AND 10-2-11
PEN AND PAPER RPGs: CAMPUS CENTER 006 AND 007 1:00PM – 9:00PM
For those who are running or playing in one of the campaigns that are running. These rooms are available for your use. If you do want to use one of these rooms on these days, tell me or one of the E-Board in the campus center. It is rare for no-one from the E-Board to not be there. Even if we are not, there are people who will tell us.
For Warhammer 40k fans, I am sorry, we do not have a space for us yet. As one that is excited for this as you, I am trying to find us a workable space so that we can play. Sorry for the inconvenience.
That is all for this week. See you around.
P.S. For those who like Dragon Ball Z Abridged and is up to date, “Killing Crabs in the Ocena” is now in full length, but only through Itunes and amazon for purchase and download.
